Considering how instrumental this man was in helping connect the Roman Catholic Pope with lead Word of Faith charismatic Kenny Copeland and his word of faith minions, the reporting of this man's sudden and tragic death has been rather low key, wouldn't you agree? I don't mean to be morbid, or disrespectful, I just want to know what really happened to the poor man. I guess my curiosity has been piqued because this whole situation seems so criminal, aside from the obvious drunk driver element. I find it very odd that this whole sad affair seems to be strangely unimportant and the people involved seem so, I don't know.....reticent on the matter.
My Condolences
I fully understand how a sudden and untimely death cheats the survivors out of getting the chance to say what they would have said if they had been given the time to do so. This kind of regret sucks, doesn't it? My heart truly does go out to his family, friends, and congregation, but especially to his wife. True, I never met the lady, but I can tell when a man really loves and adores his wife, and Tony really did. I got that strong impression while I was watching the video of the Word of Faith conference he attended, even though he only mentioned her briefly. As a woman who deeply loves her husband, I pray she receives the strength to carry on without her friend and lover, but mostly I pray she receives something far more precious, the truth.
And NowThe Hard Part, The Truth.
Dear reader, despite all of his humble charisma and good intentions, Bishop Tony Palmer, as an Episcopal/Anglican minister (rooted in Word of Faith doctrine) was- - according to the word of God - - brace yourself - - spiritually lost! Ouch huh? Now I realize that revelation will upset many of you, and will be met with categorical denials, but I hope you realize that this is not an easy thing for me to say, even so, it must be said. To deny the truth would be a far greater crime than hurting people's feelings. This subject is extremely important, it concerns our very real eternal future. So how can I say such a seemingly insensitive and wretched, and even "judgmental," or "condemning" thing at a desperately sad time like this? Have I no shame? Please, let me explain before you go off on a "Thou shalt not judge", or a "touch not His anointed" tirade.
My claim is not my "hateful" opinion, it is based upon my knowledge of God's word compared to the Word of Faith and Anglican theology, which are both really thinly veiled forms of idolatrous witchcraft. More shock and awe, right? According to the Bible, the book Christians claim to read and follow, I ask you, is it fair and correct to say that God hates idolatry and the false gospels that breed it? If you actually read the Bible, your answer had better be, "Yes! God hates idolatry!" There is something else. God also expects us, those who were redeemed (bought) with his own precious blood, to be far more loyal, obedient, and loving toward Him, even more so, than toward our own loved ones. I know! This is very shocking news to many Christians, how much more shocking for non-believers? Don't believe me? Then just read what the LORD God has to say regarding this very important subject:
"If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people.
Stone them to death, . . . " Deuteronomy 13:6-10a
". . . because they tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery." Deuteronomy 13:10b
"Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." -Matthew 10:37
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even their own life--such a person cannot be my disciple."-Luke 14:26
"Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life." - John 12:25
Catholicism still teaches a works based gospel in that they claim salvation is obtained through sacraments. That means they really teach "salvation is by grace through faith....AND...." This clearly shows they preach another gospel, one that Jesus and the apostles didn't preach. Catholic theology is not Christian, because according to Catholic theology, the blood of Jesus isn't good enough on it's own, for the remission of sin. In fact, the Catholic Jesus is murdered every week by the priest during the mass, this practice isn't scriptural it's pagan, and it puts Jesus' once and for all sacrifice to an open shame. I heard this man say, out of his own mouth, that he and his wife (who was raised Catholic), both of them desired to evangelize the Catholic church, but not from witnessing to the masses from the outside of it's idol encrusted walls and windows, but rather by joining it!
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial ? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” - 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Dear reader, what is so hard to understand about the word of God spoken in 2 Corinthians 6? We are to come out of apostate and idolatrous religions, not join them to share the gospel. Good intentions are not a good excuse for ignorance, and/or disobedience. I have said it before and I'll say it many more times, if you love people more than God, then you will compromise the truth in favor of false religions to accommodate them. The Catholic Charismatic Renewal is not the hope of the Catholic Church, as Tony Palmer enthusiastically asserted, but the real biblical Jesus Christ, and his uncompromising gospel is!
So....am I saying that Tony's death was God's punishment? No! NO! NO! Sadly, Satan often destroys his own minions, or his human agents may even sacrifice the ones that they feel are no longer useful to them. What I am saying is that I hope with all my heart, that he repented before he left this earth, because if he didn't, then sadly he is not in heaven like everyone says he is. Whoa! How can I say that? Because, it is a well documented fact that the Catholic Church is the embodiment of the Mother of all harlots, or the mother of all idolatrous religions in the world today. This is simply the truth, but don't think the RRC is the only one, she does have daughters, right? The Word of Faith theology is just as bad, if not worse. The more false light that covers the evil hiding beneath the glittery mask that covers it, the more sinister the evil is. At least the Catholic church has their idols out in the open, where as the Word of Faith hides their chief idol Mammon and their desire for godhood under a glittery white veil of faith, expertly woven with God's wrested word.
A Strange Twist
When The Son of Man Comes, Will He Find Faith on the Earth?
"when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
Jesus also knows who is really faithful to him, and who only gives him lip service. The question is, do you know if you are a self-deluded sinner, or an honest sinner? Jesus asks us if he will find faith on the earth when he returns in great power and glory. Will he find you in faith, or in apostasy? According to the Bible, during the last days, the vast majority of the inhabitants of the earth will be apostates, not faithful Christians. And so, in that very sobering knowledge, it is my desire that we all judge ourselves using the word of God as the plumb line of our faith. Are we in genuine faith, or are we following a false gospel and a false Christ, and a false unity? If you loathe sound doctrine as a means of unifying the body of Christ, then the chances are, you are well on your way to boarding one of many buses headed for Apostasyville. If you desire an experience based relationship with Jesus, rather than faith based fellowship, then you are opening your itching ears to hear lying spirits who are more than willing to scratch them for you.
